Michelle Letarte: Epave & H2O artefacts
A series of painted rust and indigo imprints derived from the story of a famous shipwreck of the “goélette L’Accalmie” in Baie St-Paul, QC. Imaginary objects corroded by years underwater and boat pieces trapped in nets and surrounded by planktons are the essence of this exhibition.
Valda Zobens: Perilous Journey
Exposure to daily world news has inspired the artist to represent migrants from many lands in their desperate but hopeful travels towards resettlement in new countries. In a separate series “Threads and Memories” (monoprints) the artist explores the relationship between color and shape.
The Artist will donate 50% of Refugee series sales to Refugee Sponsorship Program
Claude Letarte
Photographer Claude Letarte from La Malbaie, QC, is participating in the exhibition with several images of the famous schooner over the years.
Artists will be present on Saturday, March 5, and Sundays, March 6, 13, & 20 and by appointment.
