An informal opening will take place at Propeller Art Gallery on November 13, from 1- 5:30 pm.
Artist will also be present on Saturday, Nov 20 and on Sundays Nov 7, 14 and 21.
Artist Statement:
This exhibition is inspired by daily walks in my Toronto neighbourhood, known as Riverdale. Deprived of travels from April 2020 onwards, I focused on the gardens and their ever-changing display of spring blooms, summer flora, and deep fall colours. From thousands of photos, I selected my favourites, altered them digitally, transferred printed copies to board and integrated the images with acrylic.
